Open source

The whole thing is open.

Firmware, hardware, enclosure CAD, and the PCB are all public. Inspect how it works, fix it yourself, fork it, or build your own from scratch.

SIMINPUT was always meant to be repairable and yours. Opening the files is the logical next step: nothing about the box is a black box. The PCB uses standard GPIO with no proprietary protocol, the parts are 3D printed or off-the-shelf, and now the source for all of it is published.

You don't need to buy anything from me to use it. If you'd rather build it yourself, everything you need is below. If you'd rather I build it, that's what the configurator is for, and buying one is what keeps the project going.

Rather not source the parts yourself?

Design your box in the configurator and I'll build it, test it, and ship it, complete for around €80.
